It feels like everything is just off kilter a bit right now.
Politically. Well, in the US at least it feels like living in a political hurricane.
Financially. Markets are unstable and unpredictable.
Personally. I am just hearing so many people with significant life challenges and changes.
It feels to me like we are living life in an emotional earthquake zone that is just constantly being set off.
I follow all kinds of people in SM (Christian thought leaders, spiritualists, coaches, business gurus) and I just keep seeing a theme of “change” and “uncertainty” – one even went so far as to say “don’t go making ANY significant changes in your life right now if you can at all avoid it: don’t rock the boat, don’t confront anyone, bite your tongue and be nice!”
And of course, I find myself repeating that as a mantra for the past few days: “Don’t rock the boat! Be nice!”
I think we all just need a little more kindness right now.
Kindness for ourselves. For our families. For our loved ones and friends. In our communities. For the earth and the creatures around us.
For goodness sake, we need kindness and compassion for our businesses right now!
How do you practice kindness for yourself?
It might be time for us all to do another round of gratitude practice…
With a heart intentionally full of gratitude today-
